Reapportionment and Redistricting

Every ten years, as a result of the Decennial Census, the congressional representation of each state is reapportioned based on population. The result of the 2010 Census and the number of congressional seats that implies for Minnesota will be released at the end of December 2010. In March 2011, the US Census Bureau will release detailed data for the Minnesota legislature to begin the process of redrawing the congressional and legislative districts in the state. The following links provide information about that process.
